[Notice : Atlantic Cotton Mills]. 1849.

A handwritten notice indicating that weavers employed in Atlantic Mill No. 2 are required to stay in the weave room at mealtimes and until the end of the work day. The notice also says that no weaver will be employed who leaves the room before the proper time. The reverse of the notice reads: Atlantic Mill No. 2, Upper Weave Room, Nov. 26, 1849/Put up Nov. 5, 1849/Taken down Nov. 26, 1849.
